The Annual Planning Conference

The MnACC Annual Planning Conference is held each June. This three day event is the marker for the new academic year on the MnACC operational calendar. Our conference serves as the formal method to evaluate the activities of the past year, plan for the upcoming year, and elect new leadership for the executive committee.

Along with the organizational functions of the annual planning conference, this retreat also serves as professional development for admission professionals concerned with improving college access for students of color. Past topics of discussion and presentation have included: financial aid processes, white privilege, migrant student populations, and Minnesota demographic changes.

This year, the conference will be held at the campuses of Minnesota State University-Moorhead and Concordia University Moorehead. The dates are June 9-11, 2008. For more information contact Ann Hanson at hansonah@mnstate.edu.
