Dear Colleagues and Friends,
The Minnesota Association of Counselors of Color, Inc. (MnACC) is a non-profit organization that promotes educational opportunities for students of color in Minnesota and supports professionals of color working in higher education. The organization’s primary goal is to increase the number of college-bound students of color.
The Development Committee is asking for your help in making this a reality by supporting the Student of Color Scholarship Program for students pursuing higher education.
We are trying to raise a minimum of one additional $500 scholarship by May of 2010. We would like to try to meet or exceed this goal with your assistance. Your donation(s) to the MnACC Student of Color Scholarship Program can financially help bring students one step closer to attending college and achieving their educational goals. By reducing the financial barriers for students today, we can create a more diverse and highly educated workforce for the future. With your support, we will help reduce the amount a student must pay for their tuition with more scholarship opportunities.
MnACC is registered as a non-profit 501 (c) (3) and all donations are tax deductible. Return the attached form with your check or money order payable to “MnACC, Inc.”. A receipt for the amount you donated will be mailed to you once it is received.
