Ashley is currently serving as the Senior Admission Counselor at St. Catherine University (St. Kate's) and has recently joined the MnACC team within the past year. She has been in college admissions for the past 7 years, working for the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, Miami Ad School Minneapolis, and Globe University/Minnesota School of Business. She graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in 2004 with a Bachelor's of Arts in Communication Studies and a Leadership Studies minor. Shortly after, she furthered her education at the University of St. Thomas, receiving her Master of Arts in Leadership and Student Affairs in 2008.
Ashley was born in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She was raised in Spain and Germany, where she completed majority of her K-8 education before moving to Minnesota and graduating from Apple Valley Senior High School. She is avid about volunteering and being involved in the community during her spare time. Ashley loves to attend concerts, theater perfomances and cultural festivals. She also is passionate about traveling, practicing yoga, gardening, and spending time with her Pug Lexie.
Ashley's unique professional and personal path has led her to the realization there is opportunity out there for all willing to discover it. She is devoted to helping students find their next step in life and is a firm believer that there is the perfect college or university for everyone. Ashley knows that with the guidance of admissions personnel, support services, and successful organizations like MnACC, every student should be able to obtain their educational dreams and the open doors to their future.
